Get Out & Vote.
The Get Out & Vote campaign was designed to inspire civic engagement through visual metaphor. Centered on the message “Democracy Blooms When You Vote,” the campaign uses botanical imagery to symbolize growth, renewal, and collective care—reminding viewers that participation nourishes democracy. The series included posters, street signage, and editorial layouts unified through bold typography, patriotic color, and delicate line illustration.

Making Democracy Feel Human
The challenge was to design a political campaign that felt emotional rather than corporate. Traditional voting campaigns often rely on flat slogans or aggressive patriotism. This project needed to communicate empowerment through optimism—inviting people to see voting not as a duty, but as an act of care. The goal was to merge strength and softness through design, giving visual form to the idea that rights, like plants, require attention to grow.
Designing for Growth
I built a visual system around typographic contrast and organic illustration. Hand-drawn florals bloom behind bold letterforms, symbolizing the relationship between civic participation and collective flourishing. A red, white, and blue palette maintained clarity and cultural connection, while fluid linework softened the tone. The designs translated seamlessly across print and environmental applications—from editorial spreads to bus shelter posters—ensuring accessibility and impact in both digital and physical spaces.
Where Action Takes Root
The Get Out & Vote campaign reframes civic engagement as cultivation. Through bold design and meaningful metaphor, it encourages people to nurture democracy by participating in it. The final visuals prove that political design can be inviting, poetic, and powerful—reminding us that growth only happens when we care for what we’ve planted.
