The Need to Knows

Consider this the FAQ: quick, honest answers about me and what I offer to your team.

1. Are you open to full-time, freelance, or both?
icon

Currently looking for a full-time role with a company that wants work as bold as their ambitions.

2. What makes you different from other junior designers?
icon

What makes me different? I’ve already worked at agency speed, delivering bold, detail-driven work through Design x Nine and Innis Maggiore. But I don’t stop at what I already know—if I understand 50% of how to tackle a project, I’ll learn the other 50% fast. That constant push makes me a better designer every day, and I won’t ever stop improving.

3. Do you have real-world client experience?
icon

Yes—I’ve worked with real, high-profile clients through both Design x Nine and my internship at Innis Maggiore. At Innis, I collaborated with front-end developers to code a homepage and design the full website buildout for a major client, and as an intern I personally presented my work—something unusual at that level. The client was ecstatic, with zero critiques. Design x Nine has given me the same caliber of real-world projects, proving I can deliver bold, polished work under true agency conditions.

4. Are you willing to relocate or work remote?
icon

Yes—I’m open to remote, but I’d love to be in-house where I can build connections, ask questions in real time, and be hands-on with the team (and hopefully make a few friends along the way). I’m based in Akron, but for the right opportunity I’ll move—if the work is bold and the fit is right, location won’t hold me back.

5. How do you handle feedback and critique?
icon

I see feedback and critique as the only way to get better. Learning from people with different perspectives and communicating ideas clearly is one of the most important life skills a designer can have—and it’s one I value every day.
